CPD… we are with you all the way
As a registered health practitioner working in New Zealand you are required to maintain your competence in medical imaging/radiation therapy practice in order to meet the MRTB recertification requirements. You are responsible for keeping your knowledge up-to-date by undertaking relevant CPD. Make sure you access the e-Integrity online learning portal as part of your CPD activities – this is an excellent resource and is available free to NZIMRT members.
The NZIMRT supports members with their professional journey; all NZIMRT members have access online to the myCPD management system which allow members to plan, record and evaluate all their CPD activities, keep a dynamic CV all in a format that can be supplied to the MRTB in readiness for CPD audit. myCPD can be accessed at any time from any device simply by logging into the Members area of the NZIMRT website.
myCPD can help you to plan, record and reflect on your CPD and produce reports which can be used for a variety of purposes including, if you choose to do so, reviews with your line-manager or when applying for a new role and also reports can be automatically created to satisfy MRTB CPD audits.
Our aim is to encourage reflection on professional practice and support you to:
- Take responsibility for your learning & development
- Integrate knowledge gained in other aspects of life into professional life
- Reflect on current work practices
- Record, critique & evaluate
We are always on hand for support and advice; you are most welcome to submit your CPD activities to the NZIMRT for peer review.
As a member using myCPD you will build up an impressive collection of CPD activity Records in your online e-Portfolio, demonstrating your learning and development over the CPD triennium – hopefully members will use their myCPD Portfolio to show their employer of their professional development activities as well as a resource for writing articles / book reviews / journal submissions.
